Galena's Art News Blog has been created by Artist, Jan Ketza.  She has lived, loved, painted and worked in the Galena-Jo Daviess County area since her childhood first as a visitor then making her move permanently here in 1995.  "I am in constant awe of the talents of "The Galena Artist" and feel compelled to share with you my artzy friendships-relationships I value and respect greatly. With this Blog my goal is to deliver the importance of the Galena Artists to Illinois Tourism and The Midwest Art Scene.", Jan states.
